Rare sea turtles, ten thousand of dugongs and more than 2,000 dolphins living here, about 200 live in the waters around Monkey Mia.
The nearest settlement / city is 25 km away and with the limited overnight accommodation in the resort, is an ideal place for lonely evening walks in the sunset.
